Meet Audrey Carriere ! Reebok CrossFit East Woodbridge February`s Member of the Month!

Occupation:  Paramedic and Student

How were you introduced to CrossFit & How long have you been doing CrossFit?

“I didn’t know much about CrossFit when I started. Before I joined I thought it was way too hard core for me. However, when I almost failed my preceptorship to be a paramedic because I had trouble lifting patients, I decided to join to improve my lifting skills (in April 2016). After only a few months I saw huge improvements and I was hooked.”

What made you decide to join RCFEW?

“To be honest I went on google and found the closest gym to my house. That was important to me; my commute to work is extra-long so the less amount of time spent in a car outside of that, the better. I’m glad I chose it, the people are so amazing and the coaching is top notch, I wouldn’t want it any other way.”

“My favorite lift would have to be the push press”

Do you have a mentor, or someone you look up to? If so who?

Who inspires you?

“Anyone who shows passion for something and has had to put in the work and overcome challenges to get to do what they love inspires me.”

What music I like listening to while working out:

“Anything as long as it’s loud.”
