Name: Mike V

How were you introduced to Cross Fit & How long have you been doing CrossFit?

A current member, Beata, introduced Cross Fit and she talked about in how it transformed her. I went to check it out the club and was impressed with the physical regiment. I have been a member since October 2016.

What made you decide to join RCFEW

Close location and most importantly, a change to the regular gym routine that was done at a gym.

Favourite Lifts/ Wods?

Squat – air and box jumps and of course…burpees!

3 Things you would definitely find in my fridge…

Peanut butter, hemp hearts and fruits

Favourite place to eat

Steakhouse and Oyster bars.

Proudest Accomplishments:

Completing an intense, time allocated physical demanding class on Saturdays. Seeing myself on how my stamina and endurance have improved over time.

Biggest struggle in life?

Doing abdominal exercises!

I honestly thought that this type of fitness is not my type given my age. But, I learned with the support and encouragement of other members and coaches, age does not matter and always do your best!
